Welcome to my blog.
I am Dr Ovundah Nyeche, but you can call me Ovd. I am passionate about educating, inspiring, and developing people through medicine, writing, mentoring, and public speaking.
I am a Consultant Physician and Cardiologist, a Fellow of the West African Society of Physicians, a full member of the Nigerian Cardiac Society, and a member of several international cardiovascular societies. I am also honoured to be a 2026 World Heart Federation Emerging Leader.
I hold degrees in Human Anatomy and Medicine and Surgery from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Beyond medicine, I am a Certified Marriage and Relationship Mentor and the author of Sex: The Naked Truth and Hear Word. I love the Saviour, stethoscopes, storytelling, soccer, and scribing.
I am happily married to my friend Laura, and we are blessed with three children.
